When is the CMU Venture Challenge?
The CMU Venture Challenge occurs annually in the spring. The CMU VC 2023 is occurring on April 8, 2023. The First Round of submissions closes on March 15, 2023 @ 11:59 pm EST.
Who can apply to the CMU Venture Challenge?
Anyone who is a current undergraduate can apply to participate in the startup pitch. Teams with the main founders as current undergraduate students can apply as long as the individuals pitching are also undergraduates. Please refer to the eligibility section on the details page for more information.
Where does the CMU Venture Challenge take place?
As of right now, the 2023 CMU VC will occur In a hybrid mode. The event will be live-streamed from the Swartz Center in Pittsburgh, PA and teams can choose to present in person or over zoom. Our team is working on getting sponsorships to host CMU VC 2023 in person, but more details to follow.
What are the prizes offered?
